Valerie and Avery
We had a blast celebrating the sweet and beautiful Valerie and Avery on their special day! The soft, light purple has been a popular one this year and was the perfect addition to their wedding day. We loved the way the blues and purples combined to make a very dreamy day for this bride and groom. The Historic Post Office was the perfect backdrop to have these two join together and celebrate the love they have for each other. Valerie wore a very classy ballgown with lace quart

Bundle of Joy!
Well this past month has been a whirlwind. In this world, there is no maternity leave. I was answering inquiries and emails the whole time I was in labor at the hospital ha. It helped me to not realize what was going on till she told me it was time to push. I actually spent most of the labor at home. It all started on the December 26th around 3pm and boy did it get worse. No sleep, 4 baths and 4 showers later, I finally was ready to say F this, I need to go to the hospital ar

Why hiring a wedding planner is an investment!
When you get engaged and are thinking of hiring a wedding planner, the biggest thing that most worry about and the elephant in the room is the cost. Pricing is a touchy subject for event the planner you are speaking to. I know for me, sharing my pricing will always will always make me a little nervous and it gets easier over time as my work and experience have improved over the years. It has become easier to explain why my pricing is an investment. It is not just about the mo

Michelle and Richard
Oh how we love small intimate weddings! Some might thing that a smaller wedding means less work, but that is in no way true! Especially when your couple lives in Texas and can't meet you until the week of their wedding!! Michelle and Richard came to us after already planning a family vacation in Sandbridge. Since all their loved ones would already be in town, they decided to go ahead and have the wedding here as well! With a huuuge leap of faith, Michelle and Richard put all

Holiday Inn Stylized Shoot Part 2
We had the pleasure of working with another great, excuse me AMAZING group of vendors for a second style shoot at the Holiday Inn Oceanside. Take a look at these gorgeous photos! Thank you a million times to our photographer, Elizabeth Henson. These pictures are just to die for! Your work is absolutely stunning and we are so thankful you were able to be a part of our shoot!! This particular style shoot was a different concept for the JLE girls as we showcased a hotel ballroom

What to remember when planning your wedding day!
Your wedding will be one of the most important days of your life and the planning is just as important. But when you are getting down to what's important during the planning process, I've learned from planning my clients weddings that there are some ground rules to try and follow and remember. 1. Don't be afraid to ask for help I am the queen of taking on too much and trying to do everything myself. I think I can be like my mom who is a real life super woman and then realize

Morgan and Leland
Some of our favorite weddings are the more intimate ones. And this one happened to be for good friends. It also happened to be the hottest day of the year, but that didn't stop the love from showing! Morgan and Leland are both such amazing, loving, and goofy human beings... truly perfect together. We can't wait to see their video and share it with everyone. Til then check out this gorgeous photos and the new Mr. and Mrs.!! Vendors Florals, Invitions, and Design: Jamie Leigh E

Tipping your vendors
I know what you may be thinking, why should you tip your vendors when you're already digging into your pockets just to pay for their goods and services? Well that's exactly why you should be tipping! Like when dining out, your bill at the end of the night reflects the costs of the food and drinks you ordered and consumed. However, someone was required by that restaurant to craft your drink, wait on your table, buss it once you were finished... if you believe those people prov

Leigh and Colin
Sometimes we get to plan weddings that are SO pretty and SO special, it's hard not to get attached. Especially when we see all the gorgeous photos from the big day! If you know us, we also stress the importance of details! Small personal touches can really add that extra something to the ceremony and rehearsal space. Paris holds a special place in Colin and Leigh's hearts (p.s. it's where they got engaged!!), so of course they incorporated the "city of love" into their big da

Southern State of Mind
Where do I even begin with this shoot... first of all, we would like to thank Briana Macon of Macon Photography again (and again and again) for these completely swoon worthy photos!! Seriously, we are so excited to finally share these with everyone! What started over a year ago as just a concept for a girly southern styled shoot became this gorgeous array of fresh florals and greenery combined with a soft color palate and girly details. And biscuits! Who doesn't like biscuits
