Michelle and Richard

Oh how we love small intimate weddings! Some might thing that a smaller wedding means less work, but that is in no way true! Especially when your couple lives in Texas and can't meet you until the week of their wedding!! Michelle and Richard came to us after already planning a family vacation in Sandbridge. Since all their loved ones would already be in town, they decided to go ahead and have the wedding here as well!

With a huuuge leap of faith, Michelle and Richard put all their trust in our team to pick out vendors and help pull their last minute ceremony and reception together. The Hermitage Museum and Gardens was the perfect venue. The ceremony was held in the Rose Garden with their family standing around them and the amazing Ken Lane as officiant. We've worked with Ken a few times, and LOVE how much personality he puts into the ceremony. The reception took place on the lawn behind the museum (the perfect location, on the water but not beachy). Rentals from Distinctive were accented by red rose and candelabra centerpieces from Roost.

And who better than Briana Macon to capture every little moment in between? Bri brought Jessica Ryan along as second shooter for the day, and despite the humidity, the girls rocked it with some awesome portraits around the garden and candid shots throughout the reception. Even though the guest count was only 11, there was no shortage of good times! Michelle and Richard are the sweetest couple with the sweeeetest family! Michelle's mom especially made us all feel so welcome sharing family stories and just radiating happiness for her daughter and son-in-law. Brick walls, records, acoustic guitar & the sound of laughter... we couldn't have asked for a better summer night!
