Come Away With Me - An Enchanted Woodland Wedding Shoot

In the midst of the crazinesss that is wedding season, it's important to take a step back and focus on why we do what we do. And sometimes we do that in the form of a shoot. How often have we all thought that a simple elopement would be 10x easier than having to plan an elaborate event? I know that's my goal in the future (should I ever find Mr. Right). After all, do we really need a grand expression of love when it can be found in the little things? In the small details of our daily lives together and in the adventure of simply loving another human being?

This shoot was inspired by that adventure. Who's to say you can't play dress up and take a stroll through the woods? And when you have woodlands as magical and enchanting as Marshview Park, anything is possible. Maybe you'll stumble upon a whimsical tablescape overgrown with ivy and an alcove where you can snuggle up and enjoy each other's presence. And maybe you'll run into your closest friends, because what's a celebration of love without gin, cupcakes, and good company?
