Krystal & Ricky
I realize I say this ALL the time, but I LOVE a small, simple, family oriented wedding! It's seriously so refreshing working with a couple who's families are all on board and willing to dedicate their time crafting, decorating, setting up, AND breaking down. Not that us coordinators are't capable of all that and more... it's just nice to have some help and be able to focus solely on keeping smiles on our bride's and groom's faces. Which admittedly isn't too hard when they're as sweet and down to earth as Krystal and Ricky.
This adorable couple got married on family property, and wow were they able to transform one of the greenhouses into such a beautiful ceremony and reception space. Bamboo folding chairs, farm tables, and wine barrel bars from Distinctive combined perfectly with lace, soft florals, and a combination of new and vintage accents. And string lighting and candles created the perfect, romantic glow once the sun went down. Food and drink were available all night for guests to enjoy at their leisure. And while there was no "set schedule," things never got awkward. We were able to play everything by ear... never rushed, never uncomfortably slow. Everything about their big day remained true to who they were as a couple and it was so great to be a part of such a close knit celebration!
