Kathleen & Brad - The Cavalier

TIMELESS. That is the word that comes to mind when I think of this day. The Cavalier is one of the most historic landmarks of Virginia Beach, and Kathleen and Brad's day captured its essence BEAUTIFULLY! Kathleen wore a very simple and elegant dress that matched so well with the rest of the details of the day. Skylar Wyatt Photography took in every detail from their big day and was able to capture it behind the camera! There is just so much beauty behind this day, this venue, and can we just talk about how beautiful this couple is!? It was hard to narrow down photos to share! Kathleen and Brad's ceremony was originally in the Sunken Garden, but with the threat of weather, it was moved to the front loggia of the hotel. AND LET ME TELL YOU- this was the BEST 'rain plan' I have ever seen! With the beautiful chandeliers, mossy wall, and natural light, it was so perfect and beautiful! Cocktail hour was in the indoor pool area on the deck and the reception was in the ballroom. This day was so perfect and Kathleen and Brad truly were the best couple to work with. The Cavalier will always be one of my favorite venues, but to have the BEST vendor team and couple to work with makes it even better! I was so honored to be a part of their day, and this wedding was certainly one for the books! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Meyer!
